Facilities funded by government are sometimes available to addicts that are in need of extensive support and that display enough desire and motivation to overcome their addiction, even though we still can't talk about free treatment. That is because it is extremely difficult to get into these facilities since the funding is pretty limited.
For you to get into this option you are expected to go through a community treatment program before proceeding into rehab. It is ensured that you're sufficiently stable in your alcohol/drug use before being referred to rehab and to test your willingness and motivation to succeed.
It is significant to remember that this process lasts a long time and that it is complicated, which means that immediate admission is impossible. You will have to go to many interviews and have a lot of persistence, as we will show you below.
